Yoga International’s guided meditations will help you connect to the present moment and guide you toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-compassion.
Literally translated as “yogic sleep,” yoga Nidra helps you attune to the present as your inner knowing navigates you through the stages of deep relaxation. These guided meditations (which you’ll do lying down) are powerful, yet accessible.
Breathing Practices (Pranayama):
Pranayama is the practice of working with the breath, often with a particular intention in mind (such as energizing or calming the mind and body). You will become aware of your breath and you will be able to sustain that awareness in daily life.
Restorative yoga is a restive practice that focuses on slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Restorative yoga is a restive practice that holds yoga poses for a longer duration allowing muscles to relax deeply. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga. Using props in place of your muscles, you will achieve a unique state of relaxation.
